Background: The rapid advancement of technology has led to the integration of information systems and physical processes, giving rise to the field of Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS). These systems blend the digital and physical worlds, creating an interconnected ecosystem where real-time data, computation, and communication play a pivotal role. The intelligent management of information within CPS has become a cornerstone of innovation, impacting various domains such as manufacturing, transportation, healthcare, energy, and more.

The workshop on “Intelligent Information and Cyber-Physical Systems” aims to provide a platform for researchers, practitioners, and industry experts to share and discuss their latest findings, challenges, and innovations in the realm of CPS. The workshop will focus on the integration of intelligent information processing techniques within the context of CPS to enhance system efficiency, responsiveness, and overall performance.

Topics:

  1. Data Fusion and Analysis in CPS: Discuss techniques for integrating data from various sensors and sources to derive meaningful insights, enabling better decision-making in real-time.
  2. Machine Learning and AI in CPS: Explore the utilization of machine learning algorithms, artificial intelligence, and deep learning techniques to optimize cyber-physical systems, enhance predictive maintenance, and enable autonomous actions.
  3. Real-time Communication and Networking: Examine the challenges and advancements in communication protocols, network design, and edge computing to ensure seamless information exchange in time-sensitive CPS environments.
  4. Security and Privacy in CPS: Address the critical concerns related to the security and privacy of data in interconnected systems, emphasizing the need for robust authentication, encryption, and intrusion detection mechanisms.
  5. Human-CPS Interaction: Explore the design of user interfaces, human-centered design principles, and augmented reality interfaces to facilitate efficient human interaction with complex CPS.
  6. Smart Cities and Infrastructure: Discuss how intelligent information processing contributes to the development of smart cities and resilient infrastructure, optimizing resource allocation and enhancing quality of life.
  7. Healthcare and Medical Systems: Focus on the integration of CPS in healthcare, remote patient monitoring, medical device connectivity, and data-driven diagnostics.
  8. Industrial Automation and Industry 4.0: Highlight the role of intelligent information processing in revolutionizing manufacturing processes, supply chain management, and the concept of Industry 4.0.

Benefits of Participation:

  • Knowledge Exchange: Attendees will gain insights into cutting-edge research, emerging trends, and practical applications of intelligent information in CPS.
  • Networking: The workshop provides a conducive environment for networking and collaboration among researchers, practitioners, and industry leaders.
  • Problem Solving: Participants can engage in discussions about challenges and potential solutions, fostering a collaborative problem-solving environment.
