Title: Economic Security: scenarios for ecosystems resilience

Abstract:

Economic Security: Scenarios for Ecosystem Resilience – elucidating strategies that synchronize prosperity with resilient ecosystems. It underscores the urgency of strategic coordination to ensure sustained business and solid ecosystems. Crucially, it spotlights the role of Cyber Autonomy in safeguarding multi-level relationships that encompass information security, policies, technical intricacies, and the economy. In an era of mounting disruptive events, securing economic stability takes centre stage. The interplay between economic security and ecosystem resilience is gaining unprecedented significance. Emerging technologies, pivotal for Europe’s growth, carry dual civil and military potential, necessitating a harmonious fusion of innovation and security. Recognizing intricate interlinks among information security, state policies, business appetites, technical conditions, and the economy is imperative to mitigate systemic risks. The presentation gives the first look a the future scenarios that underscore the urgency of strategic planning to ensure a secure and prosperous future for businesses operating within evolving ecosystems.

Short-bio:

Mrs. Iryna Leroy is an experienced professional with over 14+ years of expertise in the ICT and SaaS sectors across Europe, the USA, Caucasus, and Central Asian countries for digital transformation initiatives. Since 2019, she has been a Ph.D. fellow at the European Security and Defence College. Currently serving as the Group Information Security Officer for Risk, Information Security, and Quality at Worldline Group, she manages a large number of information security audits for 50+ company entities globally. She directly manages qualified security auditors and performs software application gap security, and data assessments for financial solutions. Additionally, Iryna supports the implementation of robust continuity plans and procedures for company business lines. From 2020 Iryna Leroy is also serving as an expert for a few DGs at European Commission on ICT and Information Security domains.

She has completed extensive training in the domain of security and defense, including Cyber Diplomacy at the EU level. Iryna also serves as an academic professor in Risk Management (ISO 31000) and Digital Transformation at Université de Lorraine in Metz and Nancy. Holding valuable certifications, including Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (with DMAIC process for improving business continuity, security, and emergency management) and ISO/IEC 27001 Auditor.
